In December of 2003 I was able to visit the La Cofradía factory in Tequila and saw this bottle of Amate Añejo in the gift shop on the property. It wasn't for sale at the time but on display with some of the tequila that had been produced at the factory and they were kind enough to let me get this photo. At one time last year Travesia had informed me that an añejo was forthcoming but I hadn't heard from them if it was released yet. Well fortunately for us the añejo is now here and available at Mission Liquors.
