This aged version of Las Trancas is, or was sold in these limited production, numbered ceramic bottles. The one pictured above from Harry's collection was most certainly acquired in Mexico but if my memory serves me correctly I saw these years ago in California and believe Hi-Time even had them listed for sale back then. I therefore think this añejo was imported to the U.S. at one point. It didn't dawn on me then that this might be unusual or exactly which vessel of tequila they had or I would have definitely purchased one. I have not seen or even heard of these cool Las Trancas Añejo bottles being around in a long time and am sure they are now quite scarce.
