This bottle contains 750 ml of a rested tequila. I chose to place this product in the Añejo Tour because the inner bubbles contain 250 ml of a tequila añejo that is obviously not the same product as the Milagro Single Barrel on the previous page. The three inner bubbles are said to represent the number of years this tequila spent in the wood. Looking at the bottle the añejo appears to be very dark in color but this is at least partly due to the fact that you are viewing it through the amber color of the reposado in the outer vessel. I did get a chance to try this aged tequila and though it does appear lighter in the glass it still has a rich medium dark amber color. Considering the somewhat dark color I was very pleasantly surprised at how unassuming and smooth the añejo was and relish the idea of drinking more in the future. The fact that you must spend $120.00 to get a small but precious sample of this 3 year añejo adds to it's mystique. The higher price tag surely has a lot to do with the unique bottle even though you are also getting a combined liter of quality tequila. However if you get the opportunity I would suggest that the añejo tequila in Milagro Romance is certainly worth a try.

Leyenda del Milagro has a nice website at:
http://www.milagrotequila.com
According to the site the tequila reposado in the outer vessel has been rested for three months longer than the standard 6 month Milagro Reposado.
