	Republic Tequila! Certified Organic from the La Quemada distillery in El Arenal. I'm pretty sure that La Quemada was the first factory to achieve an officially certified organic designation and we've always loved the tequila that comes out of there. No exception here. Republic Tequila is pure, strong in agave and tasty. I had the privilege of sitting down with all three varieties of Republic Tequila and there is a nice progression within the family. Republic Anejo has a pronounced golden, yellow color, sweet peppery agave to the nose and again in the mouth. Medium oily body with a long, sweet finish. There are drinkers that like their añejo tequila to be heavier in color and wood but I generally prefer this style, as in extremely drinkable without over powering wood notes. Quick note about the stoppers in Republic tequila bottles. Love them! Black synthetic that are easily removed yet seal perfectly. No artificial smell. May not seem like a big deal but the importance of good stoppers is something often over-looked in this industry. Each variety of Republic Tequila is sold in the more traditional bottles pictured above or a "Texas Shaped Bottle". It's no secret that "Texans love Texas" and while the tequila should be well received anywhere you can bet that these "Texas bottles" will become iconic standards in bars an restaurants all over the Lone Star State.
