The wonderful Rey Sol (Sun King) bottle was designed by renowned Mexican artist, Sergio Bustamante. Inside is an expensive, ultra-premium, ultra-aged tequila by San Matias that has reportedly spent six years in the wood.
NOTE: I provide links to the major internet retailers based on if the store carries the product. I don't normally try to specify which one has the best price so as always it's best to shop around to see who offers the best deal at the time. In this case it just has to be pointed out that Internet Wines & Spirits is asking 80-90 dollars more than($327.46) the price of it's competitors for a 750ml bottle of Rey Sol. Prices at IW&S are often much higher than the others but in this case it's significantly askew! If you're in the market for Rey Sol go to Hi-Time ($239.99) or Mission ($249.99).
Update: 11/2006: Good news for all is that Marsalle Company picked up the Pueblo Viejo Brand and Rey Sol in the summer of 2006.
