I've only seen these bottles of Campo Azul sold in Mexico. Different bottles of Campo Azul Reposado used to be available at Hi-Time and Mission Liquors, but no longer and a look at the web site of former importer, Frank-Lin shows no sign of the tequila. This may have something to do with an acquisition of Productos Finos de Agave by Cuervo. I'm strictly speculating here and don't anything official on this. Only an observation in June of 2005 at the San Jose del Cabo airport. There is a "Cuervo" store here which obviously sells the company brands from La Rojeña and Los Camachines. Well the store also stocks the Don Julio line and we know that Cuervo bought them out a few years ago. The only other label in the store was Campo Azul so what else could it be. |
