This Tequila is made by the distillery that originally made among others 'Hussongs' and has been in operation since 1992. This is the first bottle of Casa Noble I got my hands on. There are three other varieties, all 100% Agave. The bottles are beautiful and the company chose to market this tequila as "Crystal" instead of Blanco or Plata. According to the label it has been triple distilled. Crystal is very good. I think it could hold it's own with any tequila blanco I have tried to date. It has good Agave flavor and is extremely smooth.
I wrote the above text probably at least 5 years ago and Casa Noble is still going strong. Casa Noble has received many great honors and accolades through the years but most recently one from a somewhat unlikely source. The March 2004, Travel & Liesure Golf magazine author Scott Mowbray, gave his top endorsement to Casa Noble Crystal. Supplies of Casa Noble seemed to be getting rather low in the United States a couple of years ago but the well respected line of tequila is now being imported and distributed by Wilson Daniels Ltd. (of Cabo Wabo fame). We should all start seeing more of Casa Noble and that is great news. Especially if, like me, you can appreciate a first rate premium tequila blanco and Crystal has long been one of the best.
