After many years of producing only tequila reposado, this new blanco from Cazadores hit the US market in 2004. I assume this was after the sucsessful and respected company was sold to Barcardi. Since that acquistion we've seen the release of a number of new products from Cazadores along with this blanco. A new Cazadores Añejo, the auspicious "Corzo" line up and even a teqila mixto named, "4 Vientos".

I've also noticed the new NOM of 1487 on the current Cazadores products which is probably the result of renaming the factory. It used to be simply "Tequila Cazadores" but now has been lengthened to include "de Arandas", surely to make it clear that the factory is in the Los Altos region of Jalisco.
