Destiladora San Nicolas is a distillery located in the highlands region of Arandas, Jalisco. This very nice blanco is clean and smooth. I can confidently recommend Corazón Banco but it retails for around $40.00. A bit on the expensive side if you're looking for something vesatile for sipping and mixing. Frank Arcella of Arcella Premium Brands who at one time imported the Corazón tequilas was proud of the rating given to this blanco by the Beverage Tasting Institute in the year 2000. Both the reposado and blanco were rated the highest in their respective categories by BTI. The Beverage Tasting Institute ratings can be seen at: www.tastings.com
