Don Eduardo Blanco has a fruitiness to the nose that is quickly overcome by the alcohol. In the mouth again it has a fruity quality with strong alcohol yet finishes very smooth and warm. This Tequila is distilled at 'La Mexicana', the distillery of Tequila Oredain de Jalisco, one of the larger and more storied distilleries in Tequila. I enjoyed sipping this Blanco but it's fruitiness cried out to be shaken with some fresh juice on ice. In this case I mixed it with a mango aqua fresca with a touch of Chamboard. The mango blended well with the agave flavor of this Blanco. |
