Tim acquired this and his other bottles of "El Catrin" directly from the owner of the company who had the tequila produced at Industrializadora de Agave San Isidro. These 100% agave versions were never exported and if they were distributed in Mexico It was likely in very limited quantities. You may be familiar with the ceramic Aztec warrior figurine bottles of El Catrin that did make it to the USA. These were nice collectible bottles but contained tequila mixto. This beautiful hand blown artisan bottle of 100% agave blanco would be a treasured part of any collection. |
