El Conquistador Blanco has a distinct nose of agave and though the agave flavor is evident to the palate it's presence of alcohol is also strong. This can be common with a blanco and why many might prefer a rested tequila. El Conquistador did a good job with their reposado in taking the edge off this Blanco and retaining the good agave character. This blanco has that initial bite but it fades quickly and you're then rewarded with good agave flavor and a pleasant finish.
