The nicely done Oro de Jalisco web site states that Tequilera La Noria has 15 years of experience in growing agave and producing tequila. After years of producing tequila for others the Oro de Jalisco tequilas are apparently the passionate creation from the Family Landeros Alvarado of La Noria.

Oro de Jalisco Silver is an interesting blanco that has apparently been triple distilled but the tequila is still strong in agave to the nose and taste. Smooth, clean, Earthy herb and peppery notes linger and fade to a pleasant, sweet aftertaste.

Something else I should point out is the synthetic stoppers used for the Oro de Jalisco bottles. I like these because they make a great seal that helps maintain the integrity of the tequila. The very attractive artisan bottles are great but often producers seem to loose site of what is most important. That is the tequila inside. The Oro de Jalisco bottles are sealed extremely well with these great stoppers, preventing any leakage during shipments and leaving consumers confident that unwanted air will not get to the tequila after opening.
