I was very happy to see Sauza finally put a 100% agave blanco on the market. I sort of always expected a unaged version of Hornitos but Tres Generaciones now seems like an obvious direction to take. This is a very good clean, crisp and yes, smooth blanco showing the traits of being triple distilled. Tres Generaciones Plata is priced at about $35.00 U.S. so I would still love to see an entry level 100% agave blanco from Sauza for about $15.00 less. Given the current status of the tequila industry, I won't be holding my breath but never the less it's still great to see a new premium blanco from Sauza. |
