Tequila Corazón de Agave seems like a good name for tequila which basically translates to Heart of Agave. My wife gave me this bottle for Christmas as she knows my affection for Reposados. It is relatively dark in color with a sweet nose and definate butterscotch tones. There is an initial bit of alcohol but it soon mellows to a sweet and smooth finish. Frank Arcella of Arcella Premium Brands, who originally imported the Corazón tequilas was proud of the ratings given to this reposado by the Beverage Tasting Institute in the year 2000. Both the reposado and blanco were rated the highest in their respective categories. The Beverage Tasting Institute ratings can be seen at: www.tastings.com |
