Currently, Don Viejo is not listed at any of the standard on-line retailers but Steve tells me he found the brand in Northern California, Albertsons grocery stores. Other tequila fans informed me they've found Don Viejo at Sav-On drugstores in So. Cal and the affiliated Osco in Kansas City, Missouri. A little research told me that both Sav-on and Osco are owned by Albertsons so obviously Don Viejo Imports worked out something with this corporation. I don't know if it was an exclusive arrangement or not but it sort of appears that way.

"I'd say its fairly representative of the house style -- light in body, on the sweet side. Not as smooth as Casa Noble reposado, but with stronger agave presence."
