Fina Estampa originates from the highlands of Jalisco just outside the small town of Atotonilco, México, where some of the best tequila agave is grown and harvested daily.

Fina Estampa started when one of the owners of Un Tequila Artesanal, who was and still is today working as one of the main agave buyers for other well-known tequila manufacturers in Mexico, set out to create his own tequila. He combined his years of experience in the purchasing and grading of quality agave, along with the many years of experimenting with different tequila formulas to create one of Mexico's finest tequilas.

Knowing that he had created a fine tequila, he approached family and friends to form the company Un Tequila Artesanal. After many years of perfecting the process, Un Tequila Artesanal realized it was time to give the tequila a name worthy of its exceptional quality. And so it became Fina Estampa, meaning fine stamp of approval. Excited about their tequila, Un Tequila Artesanal knew it was time to market their new tequila.

This venture is comprised of either family or friends. The Fina Estampa family grew when two more friends, who have many years of experience importing and exporting into and out of Mexico, were brought in. The United States importer for Fina Estampa is Oregon Parts, Inc. They have been importing Fina Estampa into the U.S. since December of 2003, and are very proud to become part of the Fina Estampa family.
