Hacienda de Los Díaz is now available in the USA and can be found at a number of on-line retailers that are listed on the importers site here: http://www.importswithoutborders.com/743.html.
Now produced in Zapotlanejo, a "Highlands" town, East of Guadalajara the tequila has received some accolades from notable, industry entities. Check out the importers site (link above) for more information about the history and inspiration of the brand, as well as details about the factory and production.

Note: In October, 2004, Adam and his wife picked up the bottle pictured above in Acapulco. We also purchased one in Cozumel earlier that same year. I believe at that time, the Hacienda de Los Díaz brand was only sold in Mexico and the tequila was produced at Tequila Quiote (NOM 1433) in Los Altos town of Atotonilco El Alto.
