La Savia de Mi Tierra is the first tequila from this distillery that I have come across. Fábrica de Aguardientes de Agave la Mexicana is a large name for this small company that began production in 1996. In English La Savia de Mi Tierra translates to the less romantic sounding "The Sap of My Earth" but you get the idea. The bottle is made from the same beautiful swirled bi-color glass as the early Las Trancas Reposado bottles that coincidentally is the next tequila on this tour. This bottle was given to me by a very good friend I believe it is only available in Mexico.
Hi-Time does list a blanco and reposado under the name of "Mi Tierra" but I did see bottles with that label on my last trip to Mexico and am pretty sure they are unrelated.
