At one time Tim Carter professed Los Azulejos Reposado to be his favorite tequila. Considering the scope of his knowledge and experience with tequila I would consider that to be a credible endorsement. Keep in mind however that I believe his assessment was originally based at a time when Los Azulejos was being produced at La Cofradía (NOM 1137) which has a reputation for producing some very fine tequila. Not to take away from this current version but I have yet to sample it in proper conditions (we did drink a bottle one night in Guadalajara but it was hardly for the purpose of analysis). I thought it note worthy to mention that this tequila is now made at a different factory.
Long available only in Mexico Los Azulejos Reposado is now being imported to the U.S. by DR International Group, Inc., a company out of Texas which is also importing "JDV Tequila Creams", a line of tequila based Cream Liqueurs bottled in Mexico. On this importers website another product can also be seen. Los Azulejos Reposado "Gold". It appears that at least for the moment they are not importing the Blanco version.
