The nicely done Oro de Jalisco web site states that Tequilera La Noria has 15 years of experience in growing agave and producing tequila. After years of producing tequila for others the Oro de Jalisco tequilas are apparently the passionate creation from the Family Landeros Alvarado of La Noria.

According to the Oro de Jalisco web site this "Rosse" tequila is rested in Bordeaux barrels from France for a period of eight months giving it this unique rose color. After getting a chance to crack open a bottle I was intrigued with the unique characteristics of the tequila. There is a distinct fruitiness to the nose but it's quite subtle in the mouth while the fruity notes surface again in a pleasant finish. It's eight months in the French wine barrels have imparted a nice smoothness without a lot of wood. Enjoyable in the glass as a sipping tequila but it's great color and subtle wine like notes have me
looking forward to testing it's versatility in cocktails.
