The Porfidio products had been very successful since the early 1990's but a reposado was not available until the introduction of this tequila in 1998. The beautiful royal blue ceramic bottle with 18k gold lettering was a departure from Porfidio's Plata & Añejo "cactus" bottles. The medium amber colored reposado inside is a decent, hardy tequila with a mellow finish.
