These white and green stoneware agave jugs have made Tenoch Tequila one of the more unique and recognizable bottles on the market. The name was derived from the ancient Aztec Empire city of Tenochtitlan. In the spring of 2001 Tres Import, Ltd. out of Dallas Texas informed me that due to irreconcilable differences they were no longer importing this tequila. At that point Tenoch did appear to be very scarce in many areas. A while back Tenoch had somewhat of a renaissance and I think may have been imported by Cabo Distributing Co., of Black Death tequila and vodka fame. Currently Tenoch is represented by Pacific Edge Imports and/or Global Village Imports and available at Hi-Time and Mission.
